Search stays unlimited and free on every plan. The paid tiers exist for the parts that genuinely cost us money to run.

Novaralis is free for everyone during the beta. Billing is not live and nothing here will charge you. These are the plans we are considering — telling us which one you would pick is the most useful thing you can do right now.

A complete literature search, free for as long as you need it.

Billed monthly — $120 a year. Paying yearly instead is $100, saving $20.

Pro

For anyone whose next paper depends on getting this right.

Billed monthly — $240 a year. Paying yearly instead is $200, saving $40.

Everything in Student, plus:

  • 50 AI requests per hour, 120 per day
  • Evidence tables read your whole library — every article in the project, however many, in batches of 50
  • Evidence tables read the papers themselves, not just abstracts — the sample size, the design and the effect size as the Methods and Results state them, wherever the paper is openly available
  • Unlimited collaborators
  • Priority email support

Labs & research groups

In design

One shared library for the whole group, everything in Pro for every seat, a single admin instead of ten separate subscriptions, and invoice or purchase-order billing so it can come out of grant money.

$1,200/year, up to 10 seats

Then $120 per extra seat per year. Fifteen people is $1,800 — about $120 each, against $200 a year for an individual Pro plan. The bigger the group, the further it goes.

AI is a shared monthly allowance — 4,000 requests a month for a 10-person lab, plus 300 for each seat after that. One person running a systematic review can use the whole pool in a week if that is what the lab needs; nobody is throttled because their colleagues were quiet.

Fewer than 6 people? Individual Pro plans work out cheaper — 50-article evidence tables and unlimited collaborators, at $200 a year each — $800 for four people against $1,200 for a lab plan. We would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.

Will I be charged during the beta?

No. There is no payment system connected to Novaralis at all right now. When billing does launch, it will be opt-in and announced well beforehand — you will never wake up to a charge.

What happens to my work if I stay on Free?

You keep it. Plan limits apply to new actions only — we will never lock you out of projects, articles, or writing you have already done. Being locked out of your own thesis is not something we are willing to do to anyone.
